A French late 19th century polished bronze mantel clock in the Egyptian Revival style from the late 19th century.
The clock mechanism is by Achille Brocotte, numbered 5485, 16, and 3.
The rectangular case is topped with a bust of an Egyptian queen on a curved square base and stepped foot. The case is decorated with bison masks, and the frame is surrounded by stylized falcons. The base of the pedestal features a winged falcon in the center, resting on stylized lotus claw feet. The dial is 4 inches in diameter with a silver-plated Roman ring. The clock mechanism is brass with a Brocotte balance striking a gong, with a pendulum, height 52.5 cm.
