early to mid 19h century, finely watered single edge blade cut with a pair of narrow fullers and with a chiselled back edge, iron ferules and grip strap, silver toggle to pommel, two piece ivory grips, in its black ass skin covered scabbard with large engraved silver mounts each with raised ribs.
