Border of partly gilded leather, worked into spiralling foliage motifs alternating with long ovoid medallions. Inscription in Arabic gives the name of the ilHamiya school, an Islamic art revival school founded by Princess Ilham of Egypt , closed later for political raisons. Medallion in mother of pearl compliment each corner (one side of the frame replaced)
