Northern Persia (Iran), ca. 188 x 102 cm, produced circa 1920. The carpets from Kelardasht are very similar to the Caucasian examples. In many cases the row of the so- called Memmling guls are to be found. The present piece shows only slight wear and has original ends, the sides restored, with minor repairs.
