A charming two-piece set of polychrome porcelain de Paris, consisting of a carafe and matching bowl. The pieces are decorated with hand-painted birds and floral sprays on a white ground, with turquoise borders enriched by gilt foliate ornamentation. Attributed to Sèvres-style workmanship.

Condition: Gilt decoration partially rubbed on the interior of the bowl; one goblet originally part of the set is missing.
